In a game somewhat streaky, Argentinos Juniors se llevó tres puntos de su visita al Parque Central y queda muy bien ubicado de cara a la clasificación a octavos de final.
El partido comenzó con un Nacional decidido a ganar, debido a aún que no había sumado de a tres en esta edición de la Copa libertadores y disputaba este encuentro frente a su gente. Por ende el bolsilludo se mostró agresivo en la ofensiva en los primeros minutos, donde perdió varias chances de gol que luego le costarían caro.
